Ingredients
  • 60 ml tequila
  • 20 ml triple sec or Cointreau
  • Juice of 1–2 limes or lemons
  • Krishi Cress kombucha, to top up
  • Crushed ice
  • Salt, for the rim
Method

Shake

Add tequila, triple sec, citrus juice, and plenty of ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake well until the shaker frosts.
Ratio to follow:
3 : 2 : 1
Tequila : Lime juice : Cointreau

2  Prepare the glass

Run a lime or lemon wedge along the rim of the glass and dip it in salt.

Pour

Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass. Add crushed ice if you prefer a frozen-style margarita.

4  Top and serve

Top up with kombucha of your choice and give it a quick stir. Serve immediately.
